"On location" is a term we love to hear, and we have the experience and equipment to handle the extreme situation. Whether it be a documentary, a training video or a news magazine piece, Preston and PSVideo have traveled all over the world working on a diverse range of projects.

Based in the Metro Detroit area, PSvideo offers a variety of production services for broadcast, commercial and corporate clients. Each project is individually evaluated for the best combination of equipment and necessary personnel. A combination of location and studio production services and true broadcast-quality editing allows PSVideo to offer the full spectrum of production services.

ENG Production

PSvideo specializes in location video production. On the broadcast side this includes news stories, news magazine shows, television entertainment segments, documentaries and many others. Companies and agencies wishing to get outside the studio can utilize these services for sales, marketing, training and corporate image projects. The camera package and accessories are carefully chosen and designed to yield true broadcast-quality results while remaining compact and portable.

EFP

PSVideo is experienced in the studio, having been involved with many commerical shoots and high-end corporate projects. A studio package is added to the camera equipment for control by a video tech.

Editing

Preston is also an experienced videotape editor, and owns and operates a Media100 non-linear editing system. The Media100 system offers broadcast quality with a complete suite of graphics creation, titling and video manipulation software.

Produce / Direct

PSvideo can, and has, provided the ideas and resources to take a project from concept to completion. Whether it be an idea for a certain transition, or full-blown "taking the reins" of an entire project, PSvideo has the experience and know-how to make your project work.

Aerial Photography

Preston is an experienced aerial photographer, with extensive experience on Tyler mid and nose helicopter mounts.

Media Training

Preston's vast experience shooting news stories and literally thousands of interviews affords him an understanding of what works and doesn’t work in front of the camera. When the hot lights are burning on someone (many times reluctantly) placed in front of a camera, it is wise to know what to expect. Typically teaming with an experienced on-camera talent, Preston offers sessions that help companies more effectively deal with the possibility of media exposure. Sessions include content, message creation and appropriate on-camera behavior.
